CodeToolz Chat Room Rules and Etiquette

To ensure the best possible experience for all chat room participants, chat room participants are asked to observe some basic guidelines for participation.

By entering into the CodeToolz chat room, you agree that you have read and will follow the rules and guidelines set for these discussions.

In order to preserve a climate that encourages both civil and fruitful dialogue in a lawful manner, CodeToolz reserves the right to suspend or terminate chat room participation for members who violate these rules.

The Rules

Don’t challenge or attack others. The discussions are meant to stimulate conversation not to create contention. Let others have their say, just as you may.

Use caution when discussing products or business practices. Information posted in our chat room is viewed by all participants.

All defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, or illegal materials are strictly prohibited.

Do not post anything in a chat room message that you would not want the world to see or that you would not want anyone to know came from you.

Please note carefully all items listed in the disclaimer and legal rules below posted in the chat room.

Chat Room Etiquette

This is a live chat room. Once you hit send, your message will be delivered and viewed by the entire room. There is no way for CodeToolz or anyone else to delete a posting after the fact if it is offensive, or otherwise violates these rules and guidelines. So the burden is on you to be sensitive to the contents of what you post.

If you have a private and confidential matter that you would like to discuss, please ask the chat room participant for his/her email address to continue offline communication.

CodeToolz wants its chat rooms to be a safe and pleasant place for healthcare professionals to engage in dialogue. So please be sensitive to these concerns and understanding when a gentle reminder gets posted suggesting that a certain line of discussion be dropped.

But also be aware that, if all else fails, CodeToolz reserves the right to terminate access to any user who does not abide by these guidelines for their own good and for the good of other chat room participants and CodeToolz itself.
